Tormaricum is a new brand on the Hungarian food market that, thanks to its efforts, received the MagyarBrand award in 2024.
Our company has established a modern horseradish processing facility located in the heart of Hajdúság, the homeland of Hungarian horseradish and Europe’s largest horseradish-growing region. Our goal is to process the high-quality raw materials from local farmers within the region and strengthen the reputation of Hungarian horseradish both domestically and globally.
We believe that horseradish is not only tradition but also innovation in Hungarian gastronomy. Therefore, in product development, we strive to bring this uniquely flavored and healthy plant onto plates beyond the Easter season.
What do we offer?
Our product range includes horseradish creams in various flavors, and we are continuously expanding our selection. In addition to the familiar traditional vinegar-based horseradish, we enrich our product line with other interesting vegetable creams and sauces, which make excellent complements to various meat dishes, salads, pastas, and sandwiches—offering even more flavorful experiences.

Domestic horseradish cultivation holds significant importance at the European Union level, as half of the EU’s production comes from the growing region of Hajdúság.
Despite this, in recent decades, the export of raw horseradish has steadily increased, with nearly 80% of the harvest being processed in foreign facilities.
We aim to change this by establishing a new, large-capacity processing plant in the heart of the growing region.
We believe that local processing of raw materials strengthens the economy at the regional level, increases added value nationally, and reduces environmental impact globally.
