{"id":2458,"date":"2025-02-05T13:01:26","date_gmt":"2025-02-05T12:01:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tormaricum.hu\/stuffed-in-horseradish-leaves\/"},"modified":"2025-06-10T20:09:48","modified_gmt":"2025-06-10T18:09:48","slug":"stuffed-in-horseradish-leaves","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tormaricum.hu\/en\/stuffed-in-horseradish-leaves\/","title":{"rendered":"Stuffed in horseradish leaves"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Stuffed <\/strong><strong>in <\/strong><strong>horseradish <\/strong><strong>leaves <\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ingredients:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; 20-25 horseradish leaves<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; 2-2 bunches of fresh dill and fennel<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; 15 dkg of meaty bacon<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; 30 dkg minced meat<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; 5 dkg smoked bacon<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; 1 red onion<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; 15 dkg rice<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; 1 teaspoon red pepper<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; 2 teaspoons tomato paste<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; salt, pepper<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Preparation:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wash the horseradish leaves thoroughly, cut off the thick veins with a knife, and cut the larger pieces in half with a knife. Boil a bunch of dill and fennel in about 1 liter of salted water, then pour over the horseradish leaves and let stand for 5 minutes. After it has cooled slightly, strain the water and set aside. Saut\u00e9 the chopped onion in the bacon fat, remove from the heat and sprinkle with red pepper. Mix the bacon-and-onion mixture with the rice and 1 spoon of tomato paste, add the minced meat, salt, pepper, and season generously with the other bunch of finely chopped fresh dill and fennel. Place the cooled horseradish leaves in your palm and knead for about 1 minute. Fill with 1 tablespoon of the filling. Line the bottom of a pot with bacon and place the filling around the sides of the pot. Pour in the reserved dill boiling water until it just covers it.
