Stefánia–style meatloaf with horseradish
Ingredients:
– 2 rolls
– 500 g minced pork
– 3 cloves of garlic
– 1 red onion
– 1 fresh bunch of parsley
– 2 tbsp Tormaricum horseradish cream
– 4 boiled and 2 raw eggs
– 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
– 1 tbsp red pepper
– salt, pepper
Preparation:
Finely chop the onion and sauté it in a bit of oil, then add the grated garlic.
Meanwhile, soak the bread rolls in water. Add the sautéed onion, the squeezed-out rolls, Tormaricum horseradish cream, 2 raw eggs, paprika, breadcrumbs, finely chopped parsley, salt, and freshly ground black pepper to the minced meat.
Mix the ingredients thoroughly, then shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a loaf pan.
Press the boiled eggs into the center, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, and bake at 180°C (356°F) for about 60 minutes until golden brown.
